The $20.00 service fee, explained
The private vaccination service fee is $20 per dose, including when more than one private dose is given at the same appointment. Any private medicine cost is additional. Eligible NIPVIP services and eligible Victorian state-funded adult MMR services have no patient charge.NIPVIP requires Medicare and program eligibility. The state-funded adult MMR program includes people without Medicare.
Funded vaccination services
Your pharmacist checks funding and suitability before vaccination. The two funding programs below have different eligibility rules.

Travel vaccinations
Travel advice and vaccination are available through our participating community pharmacy service. Suitability depends on your itinerary and individual circumstances.

Eligibility is checked for each service. Having a Medicare card does not make every vaccination funded. A private service may be available when funding does not apply.
