How vaccination services are described
Public information describes the service and diseases for which vaccination may be discussed. It is not a recommendation to obtain a particular prescription medicine.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration regulates therapeutic-goods advertising. Ahpra regulates advertising of regulated health services. Both requirements can apply to a vaccination-service website.
Published service-fee information is separate from medicine pricing. Product selection, individual clinical advice and any charges are discussed before a service is provided.
Clinical responsibility and scope
Priceline Pharmacy Sunshine Marketplace provides the clinical service. Ahpra registers individual pharmacists, while Victorian authorisation and training requirements govern pharmacist vaccination scope.
Clinical assessment, consent, vaccine handling, observation, documentation and adverse-event management are responsibilities of the treating service. Website tools provide discussion prompts and do not establish a vaccination prescription or schedule.
If your needs fall outside the pharmacy service, an appropriate alternative provider or referral may be needed.
