Disclaimer

How to read the information on this website, the regulatory framework we operate under, and the limits of what general health information can do.

Information is general only — not personal medical advice

The information on this website is general in nature and intended as health information for the wider Australian community. It is not personalised medical advice and is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified health practitioner.

Vaccine eligibility, contraindications, dose timing, drug interactions, side effects and clinical decisions all depend on individual circumstances. Your AHPRA-registered pharmacist immuniser confirms what is appropriate for you at the pre-vaccination consultation.

If you have an urgent medical concern, call 000. For urgent non-emergency advice, call healthdirect on 1800 022 222 or speak to your GP.

TGA advertising compliance

Vaccines are Schedule 4 medicines (some Schedule 8). Under the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code (TGAC) and section 42DL/42DLB of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, brand names of Schedule 4 and Schedule 8 medicines cannot be advertised directly to consumers.

Throughout this website, vaccines are described by disease or category (e.g. "the recombinant shingles vaccine", "the inactivated influenza vaccine") rather than by brand. The specific product administered to you is confirmed at the consultation by your immuniser.

Pricing for prescription-only medicines is published as a permitted exception under the TGAC. Promotional language is not attached to those prices.

Clinical governance and scope of practice

All vaccinations administered through Immunisation Hub are delivered by AHPRA-registered pharmacists who hold current accreditation under the Victorian pharmacist-administered vaccination program. Every immuniser practises within their declared scope and follows the Australian Immunisation Handbook, ATAGI advice, the Pharmacy Board of Australia's professional standards, and the Victorian Department of Health protocols.

Clinical governance — including cold-chain compliance, anaphylaxis preparedness, the 15-minute observation period, AIR submission and adverse-event reporting — is the responsibility of Priceline Pharmacy Sunshine Marketplace as the AHPRA-registered health-service provider.

External links, limitation of liability and currency of information

This website links to government, professional and clinical sources (Department of Health and Aged Care, NCIRS, ATAGI, AusVaxSafety, Services Australia, AHPRA and others). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content; we link them because they are the canonical sources for the topics covered.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information current, but the National Immunisation Program schedule, ATAGI advice and Victorian state-funded programs are updated periodically. Please confirm any time-sensitive details (eligibility, prices, schedules) with us by phone before relying on them.

To the extent permitted by Australian law, neither Immunisation Hub, VERDI Pty Ltd nor Priceline Pharmacy Sunshine Marketplace is liable for loss arising from reliance on the general information published here. Personal medical advice is given to you in person, not via the website.
