Planning a pregnancy?
Ideally before conception, check immunity for MMR, chickenpox (varicella), hepatitis B, and your whooping cough (dTpa) booster currency. Live vaccines (MMR, varicella) are not given during pregnancy, so getting them in beforehand avoids a long wait.

Walk in 7 days a week or book a time slot. All three maternal vaccines are free under the NIP — no service fee on NIP-funded doses.
General information only. Dates are calculated from the gestational windows in the Australian Immunisation Handbook (most recent online edition) and the National Immunisation Program schedule. Your clinical situation is confirmed at the appointment by your AHPRA-registered immuniser, who will also coordinate with your maternity care team where needed. Vaccines are described by disease or category in line with the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.
